HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

A CRIME HAS BEEN COMMITTED!!!

Ciao a tutti!!

I hope that everyone is as excited as I am for Halloween!!! There's nothing quite like a good sugar high to make you forget all your worries about hurricane Sandy, wouldn't you agree?!

Anyway, today is my Friday, even though it's really Wednesday! Tomorrow, I set off on my adventure to explore all the wonders of Paris! I'm so excited! There are only a few more last minute things I need to get done today before I leave! I've already done my laundry and it is currently hanging to dry! I just have to check in and print my boarding pass, pack, and get my bus ticket from Florence to Pisa! I think all of those things are pretty manageable! I can't wait to see Paris! I've heard it's wonderful, and there are so many exciting, lovely things to see and do!

I will be staying with a dear family friend - Mathilde. I first met Mathilde when I was in 8th grade. She came to the United States on a French exchange program and she spent close to a month living with my family and seeing all the wonderful sights of Rhode Island. The following year, she returned again, not on the program because my family loved her so much and we connected wonderfully with her. When she came the second summer, we took a vacation down to Washington, D.C. to show her all the best museums, monuments and sites that D.C. offers! It was so wonderful! I'm so excited to now have the opportunity to go and see the lovely place where she grew up! It will be such an experience to get to see the city with a native Parisian! I also can't wait to blog and tell everyone all about my trip when I've returned!

Sooo, about that crime:

As you can see from the photo above, a great tragedy has occurred! Toby has been critically wounded! It is the Halloween mystery that needs solving!! He is going into an immediate operation with the ER surgeons....everyone should pray for him and hope he pulls through the surgeries!

Anyway, that's really all that's new with me at the current moment! It's officially cold here in Florence. I never thought the cold could actually exist in Florence, but alas, it does!

Hoping that everyone is managing to stay safe, warm, healthy and happy!!

Happy Halloween!

Be sure to snuggle in and watch some great Halloween movies tonight after you get back from trick-o-treating!

Sending my love to all!!

xoxoxo

Ciao a tutt
